Have to agree on this one. I still have an A1200 on a desk, but when I look
how much it would cost to put a PPC and BVison in it, its pretty much the
cost of the d'Amiga.

Now I know there are a quite a few people who did go out and buy PPC cards
from Phase5, several thousand according to Phase5. But I bet that most of
these people who went for the bleeding edge are also playing with Linux too
these days.

Now as far as I know, a PPC SDK is still on the minds of H&P (i.e. I haven't
asked them, but they haven't said 'no PPC SDK' AFAIK), perhaps someone from
them could offer some clarification. Right now I think the main things
should be getting 1)getting the new Amiga into shape and 2)getting as many
developers coding, we have the (Linux) SDK, there's a Windows one on the way
and hopefully a real Amiga next year.

It's probably true, but maybe it's enough to 'alienate' Classic users,
and separate them from Ami and Amiga Inc. ... :(
IMHO, SDK for PPC-Amigas would be useful, and the Ami is a must.
