I had the same problem with the install CD that comes with the card. I
uninstalled it all, unplugged the card, put it back in, let Windows98
find it, let Windows put it's own drivers on it, then went to
http://www.creative.com and grabbed the web site packages for my card
and installed them as "run" now not "save" later.
This seems to have worked.
