To be honest, I think its just you... ;-) Sorry, just kidding...
I think you are trying to install the DOS driver for Windows...
Just remove all reference in the autoexec.bat and config.sys that relate to you SoundBlaster.
Reboot to Windows and let Windows find the hardware with the 'Add Hardware' Control Panel.
