It would require recoding, of course. But if the new Amiga venture takes
off, there will be a lot of users hungry for such a package. For any who
haven't checked out StarOffice, the package includes a word processor and
web page designer, Mozilla-based web browser, e-mail app, database app,
spreadsheet app, presentation app, graphics app, and more. It would satisfy
most business and personal users. And so far, it hasn't crashed or locked
up, unlike Micro$oft's products.

The binaries total an 80mb download. But if you have a PC and want to try
the software out, it's worth the effort. I certainly prefer it to forking
over big $$$ to Micro$oft.

Who knows. Maybe even Sun would be interested in making the port easier?
They are supposed to be a partner of sorts with AI. Perhaps it's a foot in
the door that an interested team could take advantage of?
