Create a new partition on your harddisk, copy the win98 install files to it.
Then do a "Format c: /s" and reinstall windoze.
Windoze Plug and Pray functionality should pick up the sound card. Windoze
have builtin support for Soundblaster cards, you do NOT have to install any
drivers.
OR
There is some script executed which you should find... Try your luck at the
registry.. good luck.

I removed all refernces to SBLive software except these (from autoexec)
even if i comment them out, windows puts them back in !!!!!!!!

If i just rename dos4gw.exe windows wont boot and just shutsdown.
