I've installed StarOffice 5.2 both on my Linux box and on the W2k crap
I have at the office.

It works quite well on Linux, but crashes very often on W2k (and a couple
of times it even managed to bring down the whole OS. I'm very pressed by the
robustness of the NT kernel!)

Anyway, StarOffice is quite an innovative piece of software. If I was a
frequent user of office applications I'd like to use it all the time.
It's rich of features, but quite slow. Of course this is not a problem with
today's computers.
