See it as software-packages. When the system is finished, you buy a
piece of software for it. This one copy run on every platform, so you
only have to buy one copy. With the SDK, you may have to have 2
different packages for 2 different platforms (with manuals and all), so
it's fair, if you have to pay at least something for that extra package.
If the manuals are the same, you may only need a cd, but remember that
every new product means extra cost for the company, that produce them. 2
different Windows SDK (with/without manuals) means extra cost (in
management, production and so) for Amiga Inc.
