The Hawes / C= situation is the story I've heard, too. However, since
this is a NEW Amiga company and a NEW Amiga environment, it may well
be worth soliciting his support. Any "wound" is an old one at this
point and has had a lot of time to heal. If he was, in fact, treated
wrongly or unfairly by the original Amiga parent company, then
perhaps this is an opportunity to make up for that.

Besides being my own doorway into more sophisticated programming and
computer science explorations, the "Arexx Factor" has done a lot to
keep the classic useful and usable for me through the years, plus it
allowed me to help in sustaining the Amiga as a useful tool for
others. Whenever Joe Torre and I would run into Hawes at Amiga
DevCons, we would reach into our wallets and hand him another dollar
"thank you" note; we knew the tool was THAT cool and important from
the start. I may have a little too much sentimentality in the motive,
but getting an implementation of Arexx on the Ami NG seems a very
worthwhile and valuable pursuit.
