That page mentions SuSe. AFAIK the upcoming Debian release (or is the
stable release from a couple of weeks ago? I can't remember right now) is
the first distribution that officially supports PPC Amigas, although I
seem to remember it might still require you to create a boot floppy
rather than boot from the CD. That would seem the easiest way, although I
haven't had any personal experiences.

As far as I know, Linux/PPC is big endian. So what would be needed is a
PPC translator and maybe some tweaks in the platform isolation interface,
if the current one for Linux depends on a little-endian architecture - it
might as well work as it is. Oh, what you need is also people to rebuild
the whole thing with the right parts and test it extensively. ;)
