I think the idea of keeping the main version number in the archive name
is a very good idea (like, myarchive, myarchive2, myarchive3). This
way, people can fall back to the version before the latest massive changes
were applied.

Problem: What about ported software that doesn�t really adhere to this,
and have some number at the end of their name that doesn�t really
stand for a version? (X11, as a stupid exsample. Can�t come up with a
more sensible one right now.)
