Subject: | AMIOPEN: Windows within windows |
Hi,
Is this a bug...?
I'm getting some unexpected behaviour when using a resizable child window
(dialog) attached to a parent window. In other words, having a window
inside a window.
Here's what happens:
Open window1, position at top-left of main AVE media window.
Open window2, make it resizable. (Using scrollpane/scrollpanelayout.)
Attach window2 to window1. (ncall window1,add,(window1,window2,etc.)
The behaviour of window2 (moving/resizing) appears to be correct.
Now move window1 across the main AVE window, and try resizing window2, as
before. This time, the window size will snap to a completely different
size/position! It seems that the resizing mechanism is using the absolute
mouse coordinates, relative to the main AVE window, and not the
coordinates relative to it's parent AVO. (window1.) I'm sure this must be
a bug, since the window move (using dragbar) works just fine.
Anyone else noticed this?
