Hi all,
Just wanted to let you know that a review of the SDK has been posted
on IBM's developerWorks Linux Zone. The URL is:
http://www-4.ibm.com/software/developer/library/amiga2/index.html?dwzone=linux
Enjoy!
Also, a comment on the Amiga web site. The Ruksun Technologies
announcement describes the Amiga DE as "hardware agnostic". This
doesn't exactly roll off the tongue or inspire excitement. I like the
term "hardware independent" better -- I think it's better to use the
words "independent" and "free" rather than "agnostic".
I can see myself saying:
"The most amazing thing about this new Amiga is that it's hardware
independent!"
I could *never* see myself excitedly exclaiming:
"The most amazing thing about this new Amiga is that it's hardware agnostic!"
Independence is more exciting than non-committedness :) And
truthfully, the new Amiga is hardware independent, not hardware
non-committal. I think the great thing about the new Amiga is that it
can commit to everything!
