Hi Gary,
a marketing section would be very interesting for developers. It builds up
confidence and lets me see where this ride is going.
On the other hand, it might absorb quite a lot of human resources as discussions
about your business plan and other marketing issues will intensify.
Traditionally
marketing is a field where everybody is somehow right, so endless discussions
leading nowhere are commonplace. It might even backfire as some people (no
offence) tend to overreact and misread every word.
I don't want to be pessimistic and I'd really like to know what Amiga is up to
;-)
But IMHO it's a step that has to be considered very carefully, especially if
this
could threaten deadlines.
