No. You would always remember the exact time. And you could add a
calculator to avoid typos (they would become reados :-). Or a memo
which would make sure that you'll never miss a date (it would pop
to your attention at the right moment).
Eventually, a lot of the "unreliable" stuff will be moved into
"brain extensions" (ie. stuff where our original brain is unreliable
at). It will help a lot until the first one of these built in PDAs
fails and the person suffers from a very severe form of PDA Loss
Syndrome (what you feel today when your PDA gets lost but 100times
worse) or when someone plays a practical joke on you and moves
all your dates to the same time and you suddenly feel a very strong
urge to be everywhere at once !
Wherever the future may hold, there will be as much boredom as today.
PS: But you could play Tetris any time you want. During courses.
Boring speaches. And you would still know the last question by
rewinding the audio records from your ears. Cool :-)
