well, do you have a dir `//lang/cc/src/arscan.c', ?, i presume not (i
might be wrong), so that wont work.
It looks like make has been configured to build from tao`s server, (which
you dont have access to), so open the makefile in a text editor and search
for //lang/cc/src/ and either delete it or change it to the path you have
installed make into.

try make -f `/tmp/make-3.76.1/Makefile'
or the version of the Makefile for elate,..

It works ok, i did it a while ago. But there is no point cos, it is the
same version as the one in the SDK (i think).
