For those running Linux and have a G400 the updated display driver is now available at
www.matrox.com
this one include(DualHead, 3D, Digital Display and TV Out) for a quick rundown of how to
get this wonder to work:
Get Latest Kernel you feel comfortable with(2.4.0-test5 to 8)
Compile and install(with dri, i2c and agp and all your usual fixes)
install Xfree4.01
install the matrox display driver.
if you want optimal performace you will still need to download the DRI cvs and roll your own
but this gives you acceptable performce.
