OS3.5 icon code completed. Beta testing to commence on Wednesday. All screenmodes appear to be working during Alpha tests.

Enforcer hits caused by the popupmenu library have been addressed and fixed. Version 9.07 of the library is now available and will also be uploaded to Aminet soon.

OS3.5 icon support steps forward a bit more. Sorted all the problems with icon datatypes: corrupt images with CGX4, 'black' images when rendering onto a native screen with CGX, wrong rendering of complemented images on deep screens, pen locking problems and the dreaded enforcer hits with OS3.5 and AppIcons.

Scalos mailing list address has changed slightly due to the eGroups.com & Onelist.com merger. Update your address book to avoid future problems should the existing address cease to forward emails!

The latest release of the Scalos Developer archive (V2) is now available. This will be updated soon with more 'C' source code examples and fixed/updated autodocs.

Birdie has finally been updated! Birdie is a patch that allows you to customise your windows. It's small, and it's very visually effective. NOt sure of the enhancments in this version though? - silly 'About' requester.

New "Window-Tidy.module" by Simon Hitchen. A very handy module that allows window organising on the desktop from the click of a button/menu option.

Icon corruption on CGX4 screens can be fixed by downloading the latest V4 pre-release archive from the Cybergraphics web site.

"WBInfo.module" updated to V2.9c - DOWNLOAD

"The Plague" have released a new version of their "WBInfo.module" for Scalos. It now requires OS3.5 and is shareware. See the Downloads page for more info.

"AmigaIconObject.datatype" has now been fully converted to C and still compiles/works! ;). Finally, the OS3.5 specific bugs can be fixed...

"The Plague" have updated their "WBInfo.module" to version 2.9c. It's available for download from their website. See the Downloads page for more info.

OS3.5 icon support can be gained through use of the "NewIcon Emulation Library". See Downloads for a link to the archive. You must use this library with the original amigaiconobject.datatype as found in the standard Scalos distribution archive. Do NOT use the new buggy one! The only bad point is that AppIcons are only shown in original Amiga Icon format (not even NewIcons). However, this is not the final solution for Scalos OS3.5 icon support: the official datatype is still being worked on so that this "emulation" library will not be required. Until then, this is a very good solution!

New Icon Information Module V2.9b released entitled "WBInfo.module". "The Plague" (authors) say it will be the last release for Scalos and OS3.1 :-/

New LoadWB.Scalos with some minor fixes (internal release only).

Documentation conversion to HTML. This will be integrated much more into online help for all of Scalos using our own help system rather than Amigaguide or a whole web browser.

A number of AREXX scripts have been created to add additional functionality to the popup menus. These will hopefully be converted into executable modules before the next official release of Scalos.

The icon datatype system is being converted to C to hopefully remove all remaining OS3.5 icon bugs.

Removed "Reboot" button from "About" box and put into drop-down menus.

Determined modules to be supported. Includes a "Reboot.module" to notify your applications a reset is wanted so they can prompt you to save edited data.
