The Customer Desk is used for checking and altering account details, ordering extra
services from U-NET and registering for the 0800 trial. Wirenet users should be aware
of a couple of issues regarding using the customer Desk from their account.
If you pay your subscriptions monthly, you will not be able to access the
Customer Desk for your account. This is due to the way these accounts are set
up and is done to preserve the security of your account. You will have to send
your request by email to customerdesk@u-net.net
.
You need to use a browser that supports the latest security protocols.
Any browser set up to use MiamiSSL and using at least version 2.1 of MiamiSSL
will work. If you are using Miami (as opposed to MiamiDx) you may need to set
the MIAMI/SSLVERSION3 environment variable to "y", as described in
MiamiSSL.guide.
The SSL security in Voyager 2 is too old and will not work with the Customer Desk,
but Vpoyager 3 works fine. However, Voyager 3 users will need to follow the
non-JavaScript link, even if JavaScript is enabled in Voyager.
If your account is paid annually, and you have a suitable version of SSL installed, you may
connect to the Customer Desk now.
