hi,
> So where do you this 68k linux from then?
several major sites on the Web, why not do some research about it
I've always found that starting at an obvious site is a good idea...
http://www.linux.org, for example, for here you can find yourself at the
Debian site, which tells you theres a UK mirror.
pop over to the www.mirror.ac.uk site...a LARGE UK mirror site that hold
copies of worldwide WWW/FTP sites, select the mirror option, choose the
Debian GNU/Linux option, et voila, the Debian 68k distribution is in
http://www.mirror.ac.uk/sites/ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/potato/main/binary-m68k/
most 68k people prefer Debian to RedHat/SUSE 68k because it is more
lightweight, but offers many more packages.
to actually install it on 68k, you'll need all the installer stuff, for
Amiga, Mac and Atari that is 'hidden' in
http://www.mirror.ac.uk/sites/ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/potato/main/disks-m68k/
just read the Amiga docs, et voila, you are done
you even get a 2.2.16 kernel, whereas the PowerPC APUS people have 2.2.10
