Hello,
Before I get shot down in flames I have asked on the Hyperion ml but have had
no answer so far.
And as I know there are people on this list running HereticII surely someone
can help.
I am unable to get the videos to play properly either from cd or hd. Most of
the frames are skipped. Has anyone managed to get these playing properly?
I have a BlizzardPPC 240mHz 060/50 with 128 meg fast mem on board + BVision,
and the cd rom and hd's are accessed via a Power Flyer i/f. The hd's are all
using PFS3. I have added plenty of caches for the drives in use.
I have also installed the update files as well.
I notice in the HereticII/user/config.cfg file there are a number of 'vid'
settings, would it be possible to alter something to make the videos work
better, or alternatively would it be possible to make smacker play in a
smaller window?
I can't see anything in the help files about this in detail.
Any help appreciated, I've got to the swamp but the lack of decent speed makes
it difficult.
And as a matter of interest what screen size and other settings are others
using, and what FPS count?
