040's in desktops are quite notoriously problematic (power hungry and
eat-causing) much more so than 060 cards in fact (which make less heat and
take less energy)
perhaps look at the tower route...after all, with the tower you could get a
Mediator PCI-Busboard in near future with a VERY cheap (15 quid) graphics card
..the times are a-changing for gfx-cards on Amiga
