Wow, that's expensive. But not as expensive as it would be to *fix
your damned time*. Unless you really *are* living in November 2011.
And maybe get rid of that super-lame INitials quoting, which is
decidedly non-standard.

I'm going to go against my better judgement and plan a petition to
*all* email package authors to remove customisation of quote marks,
and fix them at a standard "right angle bracket plus single space"
configuration.

People are just too stupid to leave the thing alone, it seems.
