Subject:IBM & QNX Prepare RealTime Java. Phoenix Watches ; }

I was privileged to attend a RealTime JAVA seminar at the QNX2000
tradeshow in Vancouver Canada last May, for the Phoenix Developer
Consortium. There, it became more apparent to me that Java speed
issues were closely coupled to Java's non-realtime nature - that no
matter how pJava was incrementally advanced it was highly likely that
RealTime Java ideas and implementation were needed to advance the
future java markets.

Now it appears the RealTime Java Group [http://www.rtj.org] have made
ultimate progress dealing with all the non-deterministic behavior
JAVA up to now has been saddled with. This of course makes Phoenix
very happy, as one of their OS partners is instrumental.
