Ultra SCSI is 50 pin, Ultra Wide SCSI is 68 pin. I don't know of any 68
pin CD writers. Any modern internal writer should work with MakeCD. My
favourite from the ones I've tried is the Plextor !2X drive.
Try to get a drive with BURN-PROOF. I haven't tried one myself (yet) but
they are supposed to prevent damage from underruns. MakeCD supports this
and they are reported to work as advertised.
