well, the cost i was quoted for repair certainly made me sit up and think.
as i've already said, for that price I may as well look at a brand new NEC
or Iiyama 17" monitor (with 3 year on-site warranty!)
after all, I've got a 'scan doubler' (my GrandTV Amazing) so dont need
15KHz-> multisync anymore....
