Jeez, you want to use a twister as a serial mouse port?
What a waste! use the regular internal one for it,
it's not as good as a twister, buy it is still more than
adequate for driving a serial mouse about. Hang a modem off the twister,
ISDN line or something, but please not a serial mouse!

hmmm, don't exactly know which mouse software you are
using here, but twister (I have one myself) is not classed as serial.device,
unit 1. It is twister.device, unit 0.

If you want a mouse that you can use for anything - non-standard bootup
games, etc. You either need a normal Amiga mouse. I think Eyetech sell a
load (no, I do not work for Eyetech) rather cheaply. Failing that, the
Punchinello sounds like your best option. I do not have one myself, but I
do hear good things about it, and it does open you up to a whole world of
options, rodent-wise.
Serial mice give you a similar range of options (driver software
permitting), but require Workbench to be running.

The choice is yours.

Matt.
