Hello Flavvy,
I have previously owned an Apollo 040 acelerator with the SCSI option
fitted, and when I tried to burn CDs (SCSI CD burner) I found I kept getting
buffer under-runs, no matter what speed settings I had it on. It was
apparently due to the SCSI module being a "cut down" SCSI controller... SO
if you intend on burning CDs with it, I'm telling you now, you wont be able
to. I ended up selling the Apollo and buying a Blizzard with SCSI option.
Works fine! Although if I had the choice, I'd be getting a PPC instead now
because the 040 is abit slow for mp3s...
