Hi there,
Ok this is something urgent, I currently have a
SuperKickstart A3000 which boots to 2.04 ROM. I also
have Workbench 2.1 installed. I have just put a cheque
in the post for some 3.1 ROMs, but...
...I won't have them by tommorrow and I need to know
something quickly!
I will be getting a CyberVision 64 3D card tommorrow to
put in said A3000; I have to do an important
demonstration of a new application of mine at college
and have been constructing it on my A1200T with
graphics card (Pixel 64). However I decided i can't
afford to take the A1200T in because:
* Too fragile!!!
* Worth too much!!! (so's the A3000 but, anyway!!)
* It can be a right bitch when it wants to be
(ie: not boot - sometimes it needs a bang on the
side to get it going! ;)
Now, i have obtained a graphics card for the A3000,
thankfully so I can take the A3000 instead of the
A1200T. (The A3000 is a damn site more rugged and
stable; plus the fact it looks like an Amiga! Not a PC
Tower case ;)
However the issue of 2.04 ROMs and 2.1 Wbench.
I know Picasso '96 needs 3.0.
However I have CGfx 3, will that support 2.04 ROMs; or
is that too 3.x ROMs only? The owner couldn't find the
original install diskette, so i'll be using CGfx from my
BlizzardPPC's Install CD. Hopefully!
I understand CGfx 2.x runs on 2.04 ROMs - but does
that work on the CV64 3D? And secondly; where can I
get this from if it does?
As I say this is urgent for a presentation supposedly
tommorrow afternoon!!!
