My solution to this stuff was to get some hard drive caddies. Maplin had
some of a discontinued model for £5 each.
Then I got the cheapest hard drive I could find. I take out the
WindowsNT drive, plug in the new blank drive, and install QNX from the
CD.
When I had to install Win95 to get onto NTL unmetered access, I used an
old drive out of an Amiga. I had some help installing this from a friend
who is a regular Windows user. He was a bit hurt about how much I
laughed every time it crashed.
Anyway, using separate drives stops any interference.
