want something fun to do on a PC (err, oxymoron alert! :-)
Did you know that you can change the word 'Start' on the
Start button? Yup! However, you are still limited to five
characters. If you have a hex editor (there are many
available on the Web), make a backup of Explorer.exe and
then find the characters (in hex) in EXPLORER.EXE that look
like this: 53 00 74 00 61 00 72 00 74. The 00 values are
nulls. LEAVE THEM ALONE! The other numbers represent
characters. Now you can place something else there. Have
fun!
I see AMIGA fits quite nicely ;-)
never did understand why you have to click 'start' to shutdown 8-)
