Boot normally and let it validate as much as it can.
When it either stops or succeeds, you can copy files off it with DOpus
or whatever. A drive doesn't have to be validated to be read from, only
to be written to.
Sometimes validation works the second time; or you may get a message
such as "Block XXX used twice".
It is often quicker to copy everything off, format the partition, and
restore, than it is to use Disksalv.
