Hi Everyone,

I placed an order with my local newsagent to get me issue No.9 onwards.
The order was for two copies as my brother-in-law wanted the magazine
also. Issue 9 arrived but issue 10 failed to materialise as the
supplier to the newsagent thought that only issue 9 was required. The
nesagent contacted Amiga Active and was told they would send issue 10
direct to the shop.. Unfortunately, this did not happen. Weeks went by
and issue 10 was no longer available as a back issue.

Meanwhile, as I retire at the end of November of this year, my wife and I are in the process of purchasing a house in
Vange, Basildon. Whilst there I saw issue 10 on sale at a stall
selling outdated magazines. I paid the princely sum of £1.00 to
purchase it.

The supplier sent two issues of No.11 but one had to be returned as
the CD was missing. I gave the good issue to my brother-in-law as I
was told another issue 11 would be forthcoming. It never did.

I bought issue 11 at the SEAL show :-)

I told the newsagent to cancell my order after issue 12 as I would be
ordering it via subscription. I am still waiting for issue 12.

My wife and I paid another visit to the house in Vange today and as I
pulled an email down last night stating that someone had purchased
issue 13 fron W.H.Smith in BASILDON. you can guess where I purchased
two issues today. there were still six copies left.

I will purchase issue 12 as a back issue and then place a
subscription. I was thinking of holding back on subscribing as I have
to leave my present address soon after retiring (the house comes with
the job) and waiting until we move but I don't want to take the chance
of losing out on further issues.

Btw, the second hand stall still has a few copies of issue 10
left.....

Cheers

Bill
