I've always thought there should be a Linux page, just a page, in the Amiga
mags...after all, its an Amiga magazine..not an AmigaOS magazine, people do
use their Amiga hardware with other systems. Not @Plan 9'right now...but
I'm sure it wont be long 'til we have that booting on our Amigas...mmmmmmmm,
that'd be nice.
anyway! Its time for some educating! I'm serious fed up with people saying
'I'm now having to buy a PC to run Netscape so I can go to these sites'
sorry? but eh?? If you've got a decent Amiga you can ru Linux on it and hey
presto! you can (and I *do*!) run Netscape, RealPlayer7, shockwave, Java etc
etc on your loving hardware.
okay, a cheap PC might cost you 300 ukp....but thats still 300 quid! You
could either save that money, or stick another 100 quid onto your Amiga and
get those little upgrades you've had your eyes on
