...possibly for not much longer. Linux can be run in a virtual machine. x86
folks can do this with programs such as VMWare, which is direct x86 work on
an x86 machine under other x86 OS's, likewise 68k Linux could be run as an
68k program under AmigaOS.. much like Shapeshifter does for the Mac. no CPU
overhead there...you've got your own MMU mappings etc.
68k MMU-less Linux (UcLinux) has now also been run on UAE. once this is
perfected (using UAE means when it crashes, you dont have to reboot! ;-) )
it means that plain A500 and A1200 machines...and those with MMU-less 030's
can also run Linux....a growing community.
it would be too difficult to have PPCLinux running as a WarpOS task, it just
takes the developer skills
