Cheers m8, that did the trick wonderfully :)

It takes about 4 mins to load and constantly complains that the undo buffer is out of memory but it loads, I can zoom in to choose where to edit it and I can save a section and then cut it out to do the next section - so thanks!!!! :->

Now, next question - I keep getting the error "(SP) Audio has timed out" whenever I try to play certain bits of certain files within SoundProbe Editor. Is this purely because it runs out of memory??

Oh, and when trying to play the 8svx files back via soundplayer it always says "error during playback" but play16 plays them fine....do I have to change one of the settings on the icons??

(sorry - I got the program second had so I dont have a manual....)

TTFN
and thanks
Sam
