We did not "choose" the GForce. Many people were asking (rather
complaining) that we did NOT list the Dev box specs on the web site.
You will have no problems using a GForce card with the SDK as long as Linux
supports it for now. By the time the next couple of rounds of graphics
cards hit the streets, you will want to upgrade anyway.
Many people also wrote in and demanded to know what specs would be
acceptable.
We did the best we could to balance the two but also told everyone who
asked that until it is posted to the web sites, it isn't gospel.

What Matrox gives us can not be found elsewhere. We would be foolish to go
with another graphics company at this point in time.
What they have coming is hot, they believe in the same thing we do
(professional video and high tech gaming), and they are more than willing
to share with us as we share with them.
