Right, so it isn't something I'm doing wrong, then? ;-)
I tried to make some alterations by chopping the file to look more
like an amigaguide file that worked, but didn't get too far. I hadn't
heard of Heddley, either, not having had much to so with AG files, so
I'll grab that from you and investigate further.

I was puzzled by the archive as well. I know it's old, but it actually
does manage to print a graphical family tree, as long as you feed it
the right information, as I tried one of the examples that came in the
archive.
Thanks for all your trouble, I shall have another bash at this one!
