I think that below the chapel was a room where you were confined to a top
corridor. Underneath was a set of tables that were full with the flashing
things that you had to collect and a spinning thing that killed you. To
the left along the corridor was another possible way of getting to this
room (ie you couldn't get here by coming from the left) but it wasn't
possible to go back that way because of a baddy that you could jump over
when going right but not left. if you kept on going left you'd get to the
end of the "corridor" - a ledge. There was an item on the edge of this
ledge. If you jumped off the ledge you'd fall (and die) into a screen
where there were multiple demons moving up and down in some slots*. In
the screen to the right of the one beneath the chapel there was the
possibility of going up - the Joshua Tree? IIRC, falling down the hole in
the chapel room and going into the room below would mean you actually fell
through and ceiling. There was no apparent hole above you.
The beach was the best bit :)
*There's something that I'd like to know. If you got to the screen with
these demon type things moving up and down (Tree of Life to the right of
you, maybe) then there was a hole in the ground. The only way of getting
down this hole was lemming mode. But you could see what was down this hole
- some form of Hell or other. But in this hell, there was another
hole. Anybody know what was down there, if anything?
Sorry Andy, I don't know the name of the room - I don't even know if my
description is correct, it's from memory.
Cheers,
Roger
