Subject: | X-surf fitting |
I have just recieved my x-surf and as you can guess, dont really know too
much about this so here is the start of some questions on the subject.
I wish to find out about how to connect T pieces and terminators to make a
network and what are they.
The manual (piece of paper) says never connect a T piece to the x-surf,
why?
What is the maximum length of the BNC cable to connect to another computer
?
I am also trying to squeeze a Picasso II board and a SCSI board in the
desktop A4000 -- its a tight squeeze -- will it heat up too much if spall
spacers were put between the parts of the boards that are a bit close like
the PII and the SCSI board.

PS I know that there was an article on networking on AA --- Im going to
read it over the weekend :-)
PPS Any tips or advice in this X-surf area is most welcome --Thanks in
advance ( - ;
PPPS I am hoping that I can connect it the AmigaOne when it comes out or
whatever it will be called !
