Lots.
"The XML Companion" by Bradley is a good overall survey.
O'Reilly have a new book about XML and Java, but I haven't seen it yet.
The series it is in has been good so far.
XHTML is HTML tidied up to fit the rules of XML - ie the file should be
easy to parse, as an IFF file is on Amiga. Current HTML has grown in a
chaotic way, making it very difficult to write a good web browser.
