I find it enlightening that such an old game can produce such fresh and
enthusiastic memories. Have games really come on /that/ much from then? My
remembrance is not so much how good as games they were, but the eerie
atmosphere of each location. Each room had a distinct personality and the
feel of a complete environment was very strong. At the moment I'm playing a
lot of Spindizzy and Skate or Die, using FrodoPPC.
I have some questions- what was first: JSW or Manic Miner?, who were the
authors and has anyone made Amiga conversions (a la N64, in the case of
MM).
