I would now, since moving it into a nice tower, but before that, if I'd have
tried I wouldn't have been able to get it working once I'd got it there.
Check out the photo on GazChap 2000
(http://www.gazchap.btinternet.co.uk/gc2000/amiga.html) (blatant plug) to
see what it looked like. The IDE cable could not be moved even in the
slightest without making the hard-drive undetectable to the OS.
