I go to Deal Amiga, which John runs, it's about 20 miles from here,
and I always take my A4000. I have a spare keyboard, mouse, powerlead
and speakers which I keep in a bag, with all my AA, AF and CU CDs etc.,
so it's just three items to transport, bag, monitor and tower.
I reckon it takes about 5-10 mins to unplug and load, and it's well
worth having your machine at a user group, there's nothing like
"hands-on" to sort things out!
