Various people have already pointed you at worthwhile books, which are
definitely the best bet for starting from scratch.

The other thing you'll need, of course, is a compiler. If you've got the
Amiga Dev CD 2.1 (which you will need for AmigaOS programming),
then you'll have a trial version of StormC on it. Another good compiler is
VBCC (that's the one I use).

Both compilers are good for beginners, because they kick up a fuss about
minor coding errors that other compilers let through.

Once you find your feet, if you have any specific questions, join the
amiga-c mailing list here at egroups. It's a friendly list, and in the
9-10 months I've been a member, I can't remember more than a couple of
occasions when people have been told to RTFM!
