hi,

well, congrats to the SEAL team for this event!

I had a good time up there....only marred by losing the hereticII final soo
badly!!! :-)

there was a lot of things that I could have bought, but I had to resist..had
to!

so, big thanks to the organisers...and all the other groups that were
present. the gaming room was fun, had some good chats with other people.
Also many thanks to the developers who truned up to demo their forthcomign
games...mind you, even just a year ago you'd be linched for showing us a
laptop playing a game that isnt yet out on the Amiga yet ;-)

and a final thanks to the Amiga companies who turned up. Especially Eyetech
who were able to clarify an issue about scanners and my machine. And, as
promised, I'll follow this up. hey! who knows, you may see a package by me
for sale from them! ;-)

in terms of demos, all good! my girlfriends a bit miffed I didnt buy Bubble
Heroes (which played great, looked gorgeous and was a sonic treat!), but as
said, moneys tight this month. The Mediator card is looking 100% perfect, so
anyone want a cheap BVision? :-) i've now got my MooVid upgrade (no thanks
to Epic!), SDK looked fine. I'll wait until more API's are in before
buying-in...I've got to finish some projects first anyhow :-)

In short, a great little show. I hope we can have one of these every 4
months within range of people....ie a few more up north for the northern,
two more down south...perhaps even southwesterly. I couldnt make kickstart
because it was on a saturday. (when asked about this, i was told it was so
it didnt clash with the PC Fairs....eh?? you can go to those every
weekend...if you want to go to an Amiga event you'll choose that over a PC
Fair any day! :-))

ta very much to Analogic too, for my trackball gift for joining up to SEAL's
clubbed magazine. 10 ukp for 4 issues and a 15 ukp trackball thrown in as a
subbing gift! excellent. I'm now getting used to playing HereticII with the
trackball.

PS a few of the prizes at the end puzzled me. OS3.5...shouldnt everyone have
that anyway? :-)
