Okay, this is sort of a rumour, but its also on national TV, so its
sort of okay.
The IBM ad: the guy who plays Sisko in DS9 (nice touch; futuristic
element) stands there banging on about all the different platforms
and how they're all incompatible with each other and how great it
would be if they could all work together and talk to each other no
hassle. Then the question, well more of a statement really, what if
there were an OE that could run on any platform? Then everything
could work together.
Is this my imagination? It sounds like Amiga DE. And IBM are
interested, witness the article on the IBM website, its linked from
