***Yes, this was posted to the announcement list as well. Announcements aren't
usually posted here, this being the public discussion list an' all, but we
thought we'd make an exception just this once so you all get to see the
following... :-)
Hello all!
We (being Amiga Active magazine :-) must apologise for not updating our web
site or announcing anything on our announcement mailing list recently.
(which is at http://www.egroups.com/subscribe/amigactive-announce by the way
:-)
We have been extremely busy producing Amiga Active over the last couple of
months, and our on-line presence has had to take a back seat for the time
being.
To everyone who has emailed us in the last few weeks: Thank you for your
concern. Rest assured, Amiga Active is still here, still being published, and
still striving for wider distribution! If you still can't find us in the
shops, please let us know by filling in our ongoing distribution survey.
(at http://www.amigactive.com/surveys/survey3.html :-)
Anyway, issue 12 is out now - it has been since the last day of August,
nonetheless - and issue 13 (our first birthday issue!) will be going on sale
on the last Thursday of September - the 28th.
For those of you who haven't got the full set from our first year, we still
have a number of back issues left in stock, so pop along to our secure online
order form to stock up now while we still have some back-issues available!
(at https://secure.wsa.u-net.com/www.amigactive.com/subs/ccsform.html :-)
...where you can also order subscriptions and a copy of our current issue if
you haven't been able to find it near you recently!
Our new web site is taking shape - but again, work on this has had to take a
back seat recently - and you can expect to see it before the end of September.
We hope.
In the meantime, everyone on the Amiga Active team and at Pinprint Publishing
would like to extend our gratitude and thanks to all of the magazine's readers
and supporters who have contributed to the magazine's success over the last
twelve months - we hope to be here for a long time yet, and look forward to
providing the Amiga community with another thousand (or more!) issues of Amiga
Active - the Future of Amiga computing!
Don't forget - Birthday issue out on September 28th, to be available shortly
beforehand for ordering via our web site... we promise to keep you updated!
Best Regards,
The Amiga Active team.
