What makes you think that's NOT what they're doing? Shipping the chips over
insured would add quite a hefty cost to each chip. YOu'd probably get a loss or
two as well. Hence, a £20 chip gets turned into a £35 chip, excluding profit
(about £5 here) & VAT (about £7).
This isn't some ploy to get you to to part with cash and line their pockets,
it's what you get for living at the arse end of Big-Box Amigadom. Move to
the US, your A4000 will LOVE you for it.
