In a word- yes. I've written some info in another recent message about it,
but anyone here would (I hope) recommend upgrading...

I've just had some trouble with my new SCSI IBM. The last 2gigs were loaded
with block errors- real shame- I'm really disappointed, but I guess buying
a second hand HD sometimes isn't the deal you think it is. There's no way
I'll trust the remaining two gigs on anything important- but maybe I'll
find a use for it :(
And it was /slower/ than my Seagate Medalist! Maybe because it was so
error-laden, I don't know...
