Your point is good- but I used to live as a student in Liverpool and the
Public transport was great, much better than London. Liverpool is pretty
small though- you can walk to most places. But as you say, if you live
somewhere other than a big city or town, the public transport is shite. Is
this primarily a North/South divide problem though? No, I don't think so.
